PUTTING
PEOPLE before politics
N’KIYLA JASMINE THOMAS WILL FIGHT FOR ALL OKLAHOMANS running for u.s. senate.
WHY i fight.
Our children deserve better education—with real reforms, increased teacher pay, and more classroom funding.
Our families deserve accessible healthcare—including lower prescription costs and expanded rural healthcare access.
Our workers deserve fair wages and opportunities—not an economy that favors the few over the many.
Our veterans and military families deserve respect and real support—not empty promises.
Our LGBTQIA+ community deserves protection—because hate has no home here.
Our immigrants deserve fair policies—because they are part of our communities, workforce, and economy.
Our farmers and ranchers deserve real leadership—not policies that sell them out to corporate interests and foreign buyers.
Ready to fight for every family, every community, every Oklahoman.
ONE OF US.
For too long, we’ve watched as the systems meant to serve us have failed. We’ve seen politicians prioritize profits, special interests, and personal agendas over the well-being of Oklahomans. That must end.
I’m not a career politician. I’m not backed by billionaires or corporate lobbyists. I’m one of you—an Oklahoman who understands the struggles of working families, teachers, veterans, small business owners, and everyday people fighting to make ends meet. I know what it’s like to feel ignored by those in power, and I refuse to stand by while our communities suffer.

FAQs
-
You. Everyday Oklahomans. Not lobbyists, not billionaires, not super PACs. And definitely not AIPAC, I’m not here to sell my voice to the highest bidder. I believe public service should be about serving people, not padding bank accounts.
-
Correct. None. Zero. Zilch. If it comes with strings attached, I don’t want it.
-
Let’s just say we’re not out here treating politics like a get-rich-quick scheme. Grassroots means lean budgets, creative problem-solving, and more time with the people instead of endless donor dinners
-
Because if you have to buy your way into viability, then the system is broken. The loudest voice in the room shouldn’t belong to the person with the fattest wallet.
-
• People over politics — every single time
• Education reform that’s honest and equitable
• Healthcare access for all, especially rural and underserved communities
• Support for military families (I’m a military spouse myself)
• Protections for Native sovereignty (I’m Chickasaw and proud)
• Equity in autism care (my son is autistic and thriving because of early intervention)
• Transparency & accountability in government — no excuses
-
Yes, but it’s about spreading the message, not raking in cash. If you buy a shirt, it’s because you believe in Okies First, not because we’re trying to hit a quarterly “brag number.”
